John C. Toms, of East Peoria, Illinois  d. April 7, 2014

Mr. John C. Tomes of East Peoria, IL passed away April 7, 2014 according to his wife Karen Toms.  He died at Unity Point Health Methodist Hospital. He was under Hospice Care and was admitted there on April 4th for acute care.  The cancer was diagnosed in mid February, and it was the fast growing one.  It started in his lungs and liver and spread all over his body.  I hope he is at peace now - with no pain or nausea. He had opted for no chemo - as there was no cure. 

John was an ACF member and MCA subscriber for many years, living at 1074 Spring Bay Road, and he played in local tournaments.
